A Speedi Sleeve is an ultra-thin stainless steel sleeve used to repair worn or damaged shafts. Instead of expensive shaft replacement or time-consuming machining, you can simply press the sleeve over the worn area to create a brand-new, mirror-smooth sealing surface.
No. Every Speedi Sleeve comes with a specific installation tool. Using a standard mallet and the provided tool, the sleeve can be installed in minutes without removing the shaft from the machine in most cases.
No. Because the sleeve is ultra-thin—approximately 0.28mm (0.011 in)—you can continue to use the original equipment (OE) size oil seal. This makes maintenance much simpler and more cost-effective.
